General

This is a nearly identical copy of the Red Creek Advice sheet that is included with most brushes. The sheet has been updated based on manufacturer information, but the sentence structure has been left unchanged.

Advice!

For the guidance of different types of users, from exercisers to elite and service techs, the "step-by-step"-recommendations below are valid:

  1. For the common exerciser it's enough with one brush, Black nylon/all around (0.2 x 7 mm). For soft and medium-hard paraffines. Black nylon (0.2 x 10 mm). Only for polishing.
  2. Brown Hard + Grey fine, nylon. This is the most used combination Brown hard, after scraping. Grey fine, nylon, to be used after. Goes deep into the structure. Polishes also.
  3. Brown hard + Grey fine, nylon + Velcro Roller + Cork roller. Cork roller. For melting additives, fluoro powder and fluoro paraffines.
  4. Brown Hard + Grey fine, nylon, + Velcro roller. Velcro roller before waxing to remove "micro hair" and cleaning bases.
  5. Brown hard + Grey fine, nylon + Velcro Roller + Cork roller + Brass/Metal fine. Brass/Metal fine. Before waxing, to clean the base and remove fine "micro hair" from the base. Opens also micro structure very well. Used between brown hard and grey fine nylon.
  6. Brown hard + Grey fine, nylon + Velcro Roller + Cork roller + Brass/Metal fine + Brown + Black fine, nylon. Black fine, nylon. See grey fine, nylon. Goes deeper into the structure. Doesn't polish as well as grey fine, nylon or black nylon 0.2 x 7 mm.

Notice!

All brushes must be used together with our handles with protection and be attached to a drilling machine (about 3000 rpm for most brushes; 1000 rpm maximum for brass and steel brushes).
DON'T PRESS!!!
Begin from top of the ski (tip) and then brush backwards (to tail).
Single handle for most people. Double handle for service techs. Combi handle for Nordic combi brush.
