Super Hallgeir (SHL)
One of the first choices that you may reach for on a race day! One word that you may hear thrown around a lot with the Hallgeir waxes is 'Tacky'. The SHL is very versatile in older, aggressive snow. It has superb wear-resistance. A common choice for artificial snow even. Hallgeir works as an excellent binder as well! Ironing it onto the ski often replaces your need to swap to klister on icier conditions.

Extreme Hallgeir (EHL)
Extreme Hallgeir is the warmer version of SHL. Similarly to the Super, EHL is a tacky, old, aggressive snow quick wax. It works as a binder, an iron-on klister replacement, or just as a standard crayon and cork wax. EHL is a tad tackier than SHL to accommodate slightly warmer temperatures.

Blue Special
A magical wax! This wax has a good amount of tar in it for anti-icing in warmer blue conditions. This hardwax is quite soft going on, apply lightly to ensure nice, even layers and no big globs. Blue Special is great for fresh to mixed snow. If it gets too icy, then you will want to explore other options. When it works, it is nigh unbeatable!

Blue
A beautiful natural-snow blue hardwax! Its grips perfectly, it glides quickly, and it goes on smooth. You honestly cannot ask for more when it comes to a hardwax in this range. It rivals the biggest brands on the market!

Violet
You would normally thing old snow when you grab a tin of violet wax. However, with Guru, the Violet hardwax is a fresh, silky snow wax that isn't too cold. Think of it as an intermediate between Yellow and Blue, though test it against Blue Special when it comes to the day.

Yellow
The warmest of the Guru hardwaxes. It is full of tar, aluminum, and klister making it perfect for fresh, warm snow. Often this will be a great wax to test on days where klister may be the choice, but you want to see if you can skip the mess. This wax is quite soft meaning you will want to apply it with the tin as cold as you can get it.

Red
If you step up to the tracks and see finer, fresher, natural snow that glazes when a ski glides over it, Guru Red will likely be your option. When it is right below zero, these conditions can be tricky to find a wax that works.

Green
One of the best green waxes on the market! Guru Green makes the best cover of softer waxes to speed them up. Not only that, works as a great wax on its own for cold, fresh snow. If the snow is well-skied in, work the green into the base with a little heat. This wax is super-duper versatile!

Base
Binder is absolutely mandatory for outings longer that 10-15km, even shorter for aggressive snow. Guru's Binder is quite good for racing! Whether you are a racer or just a recreational skier, you will want to work a binder into your base with heat before applying your wax of the day.

Extreme 39
We often joke that every brand has "the best universal klister on the market" but with Guru, it is probably true! Extreme 39 is great for varying conditions for around zero. Extreme 39 is perfect for mixing into faster gliding klisters to give them a bit more bite! Extreme 39 has great durability properties as well making it a great option for distance racing!

(4C to -5C)
Extreme 39 HARD
The even more durable, slightly colder-running version of Extreme 39. Between these two Extreme 39 klisters, you can cover plenty of racing conditions. Test with the Extreme 39 Hard first and if you are in need of more bite, mix a bit of the regular E39 in. As long as you are not dealing with too wet of snow, you can do most of your klister skiing with these waxes. E39 Hard makes a great binder for hardwaxes such as Hallgeir as well!

(2C to-6C)
Blue
Guru Blue klister is the perfect racing option for icy tracks. When nothing is gripping on the hardwax side of things even with below zero temperatures, you know this is what you will need to turn to. Super durable for aggressive conditions. Blue klister is also available in a softer version mixed with a silver additive to account for newer snow on top of icy tracks.

(5C to 15C)
Red
Only one word can be used to describe the conditions when to take this wax out: WET! Guru Red stands out with its superior gliding properties! Guru Red is also available in a silver additive version which makes a bit more universal of a wax, allowing it to be used in fresher snow.

Violet
A racing klister for pretty standard violet conditions! Warm days, cold nights. All snow grain sizes work well with this klister, though it is often overlooked for the Extreme 39 Hard. If that isn't working, violet may be the choice you were looking for.

Green
The double use klister! This hard, durable klister is similar to blue klisters of other brands. It makes a very good, icy snow grip wax. Perfect for late-season deep freezes and artificial snow. More commonly, this klister is used as a durable binder for hardwaxes in distance races.

Extreme Base
The top trusted racing klister base binder of the top racing teams! Extreme Base keeps your wax of the day on the ski until the very end of the longest races. Heat gun the klister onto the base, and use an iron to work it on even more! Great for keeping racing klisters and hardwaxes alike on your skis!
