Construits avec la construction Aircell légère et rigide ! La semelle NHS rapide et de haute qualité améliore la glisse dans de nombreuses conditions de neige. Un profil de flex élevé avec noyau Aircell crée une poche d'adhérence qui se comprime facilement, répartissant la poussée sur toute la poche d'adhérence, maximisant ainsi l'adhérence offerte par chaque millimètre de la zone d'adhérence. Le profil universel avec une semelle de compétition fonctionne parfaitement dans la plupart des conditions de neige. Les flex sont disponibles dans une gamme exceptionnellement large, également pour les skieurs lourds. Sizing/Flex Chart & How to Choose the right Flex and Length

  • STEP 1: Use the table below and find the skier's Body Weight
  • STEP 2: If there's more than one Ski Length that fits the skier's Body Weight, use the skier's Body Height to choose the best ski length. Choose a longer ski for a more advanced skier.

Since cross-country sizing takes significant interpretation to get right, we recommend getting in touch with us at info@skiwax.ca with the following info:

  1. The ski model
  2. The skier's height
  3. The skier's weight
  4. The skier's ability (beginner, experienced, racer, etc...)
  5. The snow type you'd like the skis to work best in
  6. If you'd like bindings, poles, or boots as part of a package deal

    • Built-in NIS 1.0 plate compatible with NIS bindings
    • FLUOR-FREE Nano High-Speed base material (NHS): Previous to 2020, all NHS ski bases contained very, very large amounts of fluoro additives baked in the base material. Starting in 2021, all Peltonen skis are 100% fluoro-free made without any fluoro additives in the base material: certified for fluoro-free racing rules! The factory stone-grind is ideal for average snow temperatures.
    • Universal flex profile for great performance in all track conditions. Get in touch with us if you`d like to have your skis picked for a specific snow type. A pair of skis that fit right are truly amazing, and is particularly important for waxable classic skis.
    • Industry-leading laminate sublayer: Peltonen bases are exceptionally flat out of the factory and stay flat after hotboxing & applying wax with high-temperature irons thanks to the reinforcing laminate sublayer sandwiched between the core material and the base material. The reinforcing laminate sublayer keeps the ski bases flat for many seasons reducing the need for stone-grinding as a means to re-flatten the bases. Flat bases are much easier to wax and they distribute pressure evenly on the snow during the glide phase of skate-kick or when in a tuck position.
    • ControlEDGE sidewall allows the ski to cut into hard track or in icier conditions - making it easier for you to get an edge while descending or cornering.
