L'Infra X Skin est un ski sans fartage offrant une gamme complète de caractéristiques de ski de course. Il est construit avec les mêmes éléments de pointe que les autres skis de course Peltonen WCR, comme le noyau NOMEX et la semelle Nano High-Speed. Ces skis sont de qualité B dès leur sortie d'usine, ce qui signifie qu'ils présentent soit des défauts esthétiques mineurs, soit une flexibilité insuffisante. Ces skis présentent des designs graphiques anciens et sont donc en liquidation jusqu'à épuisement des stocks.

Sizing/Flex Chart & How to Choose the right Flex and Length

  • STEP 1: Use the table below and find the skier's Body Weight
  • STEP 2: If there's more than one Ski Length that fits the skier's Body Weight, use the skier's Body Height to choose the best ski length. Choose a longer ski for a more advanced skier.

Since cross-country sizing takes significant interpretation to get right, we recommend getting in touch with us at info@skiwax.ca with the following info:

  1. The ski model
  2. The skier's height
  3. The skier's weight
  4. The skier's ability (beginner, experienced, racer, etc...)
  5. The snow type you'd like the skis to work best in
  6. If you'd like bindings, poles, or boots as part of a package deal

    • Universal profile: Infra X Skin skis are suitable for all snow conditions. Bindings are sold separately.
    • Built-in NIS 2.0 plate is compatible with NIS bindings and is ready-made for the Rottefella MOVE system.
    • Red-coloured `Mohair Race` skin insert is designed for racers to allow excellent glide while providing great grip in any snow condition. Inserts are glued in place and can easily be replaced with a waxing iron in the event the skin inserts wear out.
    • Comes with NOMEX Honeycomb Core construction. The lightest and strongest core material available in the Nordic Ski industry
    • Grip Pocket: The Infra X SKIN`s grip pocket rides high - meaning it lifts your skin-inserts high off the snow during your glide phase. The flex feels very elastic and supple when the grip skin is compressed during the kick phase - giving you easy grip without excess effort. The grip pockets close in reverse to wax classic grip pockets to ensure the pressure of your kick is spread across the skin-insert perfectly. This maximizes the effectiveness of each millimeter of the grip zone.
    • Industry-leading laminate sublayer: Peltonen bases are exceptionally flat out of the factory and stay flat after hotboxing & applying wax with high-temperature irons thanks to the reinforcing laminate sublayer sandwiched between the core material and the base material. The reinforcing laminate sublayer keeps the ski bases flat for many seasons reducing the need for stone-grinding as a means to re-flatten the bases. Flat bases are much easier to wax and they distribute pressure evenly on the snow during the glide phase of skate-kick or when in a tuck position.
