Rebranding

In the biggest news, the longtime name of Syntec FF is now over. The wax lines will now be labeled as: Worldcup Finish (formerly FF1), Racing (formerly FF Bar and FF2), and Performance (formerly FF). With this very important note out of the way, we can now point out the new products for the season!

Our listings for these products will change names as needed to the new as the formulas have not changed.

NEW! Worldcup Finish Blocks

It has been a few years since Holmenkol has made a block; the last ones are now banned in most racing. This new trio of waxes are just what is needed to replace them. In their own words: "NO MAGIC – JUST SPEED. MORE SPEED WITH SPEED BLOCK. GO FOR SPEED". That sums up pretty well how these new blocks claim to perform! The downside for these blocks are definitely the price. Though they last a long time, the price per gram is quite a bit higher than existing blocks.

NEW! Worldcup Finish Powder Red+

This new powder adds a mid-point between the Yellow and Red powders. A mix of the best ingredients of those two options for the just below 0C mild, moist conditions. Those that love those powders will want to add this one to their wax box.

NEW! Racing Black Bars

Fresh modifications on the existing Racing Bar (previously Syntec FF Bar) to increase overall performance. Tweaks to the carbon composition of the wax allows for higher speed on specific snow, better top coat wear protection, and overall durability of the base. Comes in only 3 temperature ranges, skipping the green.

NEW! Performance Waxes

A few new high-performance training products.

The new Performance Bar Purple is a tad cheaper than the very popular Performance 21 bar. It will have a bit tighter of a temperature range but still mainly designed to be used as a very abraision resistant base wax.

Speaking of the popular Performance 21 wax, it is now available in liquid form. We suspect that this one will be a hot seller for how much people love the melt wax.

A second performance liquid is now available as well. Maybe has a different formula but we are not quite sure. It is about the same price per volume of the Performance 21. It totes itself as a silicon-based universal liquid.

NEW! Base Wax Liquids - 1000ml Bottles

Through the popular demand of customers, Holmenkol has now expanded the 1000ml bottles from being just in the Betamix Red to now include the Alphamix Yellow and Ultramix Blue!

Universal Black Klister

Though they aren't super well-known for their grip waxes, Holmenkol Black Spezial is one of the super popular ones. This new variation is likely a pre-made mix of Black Spezial and Universal to handle a little bit more viable conditions.

NEW! HK XC Structure Tool

The Cross Structure Tool fans will be a little upset to hear that the extra roller kit for that model has now been discontinued. While the tool still remains, it will be overshadowed by the release of the new HK XC tool! Get the new tool in either a compact kit or a complete one! German quality set loose!
