There are a bunch of new updates coming to the Swix wax line up for the upcoming season! Waxes tested on the world cup circuit last season will now be available for civilian purchase! New graphics teased last year should also now be rolled out through their line up, though many old graphics will still be sold while their supplies last. Find out about the new products that the world's most trusted wax brand has brought to the table for your 26-27 season! Many of these products are still waiting of images though you can see them in the catalogue!

Swix: Performance You Can Count On

WORLD CUP

SIKE!!! You though the TS Powders were gone and now they are back! Why? Who knows! This move is interesting considering there are already so many brand new WC level powders to choose from. They are quite a bit cheaper than the new ones so it does save a bit of cash per powder. If you were a fan of these powders, then pick up another bottle of your favourites!

In other news, TS Turbo blocks are discontinued. Get your favourites while supplies last though our prediction is that they are just reworking the formulas for later release.

In addition to the new waxes from last year is a coarse, wet liquid top coat glide LC100, and a new line of high-abrasion resistant melt waxes in the DH series.

WC Liquids

Still new this season since we didn't end up getting them in stock until March. Though they have an poor choice of title, do not mistake these products for banned waxes. The LF35 is a top coat liquid for fine-grained snow between 20-35% humidity. It is great for newer snow crystals. The LFC100 is a top coat liquid for fine/coarse-grained snow between 30-100% humidity. This will be your humid-wet snow liquid, also great for dirty snow! The LC100 is for 30-100% humidity coarse wet snow. These liquids should be applied evenly with a felt pad or fiberlene, and polished with a soft nylon.

WC Powders + Melt Wax

Brand new this season are the DH melt waxes. High abrasion resistance and fast speeds are what these waxes stand for. Our alpine clients will love these waxes though the price tag is a little steep.

The new (last season) complete line of powder waxes from Swix. Following the same convention as the liquids, the powders are separated into fine-grained snow and coarse-grained snow options. Each snow grain type has 3 humidity options: 25 being the dry snow, under 25% options, 35 being the mid-range 20-35% humidity option, and 100 being the wet, 30-100% humidity option. The 7th powder and melt wax block are a molybdenum option for extremely abrasive snow. Use effectively in both extreme dry, cold snow and coarse, wet snow. These waxes are all melted quickly on the ski with a high-quality iron set to 160C, scraped, and brushed with horsehair and nylon.

TS Powders

Back by popular(?) demand! The TSP waxes are a little more universal in their conditions compared to the new WC powders. They make great bases for liquids or blocks if you are into the Swix line-up though testing on our end has never had them win a final top-coat test.

PS6 Pellets

Over are the days of blocks for your T60 Wax Machine. Swix has now left given customers the ease that other brands have been doing for years: Pellets! The pellets come in a convenient zip-up bag to allow for ease of travel.

KC60

Check it out! A brand new red, world-cup level klister for all types of wet snow. The catch? The price tag... Maybe wait until you hear about test results from someone who isn't scared by a nearly 60$ per tube klister before you think to add this one to your wax box. Maybe it will be the new craze, but maybe it will just be not all that much better than existing, well-loved, red klisters.

Swix Roto

New this year in their roto line-up are their popular red nylon in 70mm and a new 100mm alpine hard nylon. Their blue nylon roto is now also only in 70mm.

Alpine Tools

A few new alpine tools for the slopes but nothing truely revolutionary. Just a little more... red.

TRIAC

The world's winningest pole is now on Skiwax.ca! Though we still mainly deal in other poles which are more affordable for the common skier, we will offer this world cup level pole for our customers for the upcoming season. With quick-release TCS straps, and quick-swap, screw-on TBS baskets, it is easy to see why the Triac is so beloved. Just keep the price tag in mind when you are taking this pole out for your interval session in the back 40.
