ALL NEW Supra X flagship skate ski. Peltonen introduces its Speed Edge 2.0 technology with this season`s edition of the top-of-the-line Supra X model. Combined with a completely renewed core construction, OSC Curve reshaped sidecut, and lowered profile, Peltonen skating skis are now at a whole new level. Speed Edge 2.0 technology reduces friction by eliminating the extruding edge from the snow-contact area. The new OSC Curve construction constitutes a new sidecut that improves stability and handling while the redesigned tip and tail lower the ski`s swing weight. Redesigned Nomex Honeycomb Core results in a lower camber yet stiff ski with a feeling. This ski also has a new Fluor-Free Nano High-Speed base complying with FIS Fluor-free rules. The Universal Profile is designed for most snow conditions from soft to medium-hard tracks, but there is a wide variety within it.     • UNIVERSAL FLEX PROFILE: Longer pressure zones give your skis fantastic speed in medium to soft packed snow. These skis can be custom-selected based on your details to work best in the snow conditions you specify to us.
    • NOMEX Honeycomb Core construction. The lightest and strongest core material available in the Nordic Ski industry
    • Built-in NIS 1.0 plate compatible with NIS bindings
    • SpeedEdge 2.0 - Removes the ski’s extruding lip from the snow contact area and maximizes the gliding surface area of the ski. This assures maximum speed throughout the glide phase, even when the ski is being run on its edge.
    • OSC Curve - a combination of new optimized side cut working together with a lowered camber
    • Fluor-Free Nano High-Speed base material maximizes top speed and complies with FIS rules
    • Industry-leading laminate sublayer: Peltonen bases are exceptionally flat out of the factory and stay flat after hotboxing & applying wax with high-temperature irons thanks to the reinforcing laminate sublayer sandwiched between the core material and the base material. The reinforcing laminate sublayer keeps the ski bases flat for many seasons reducing the need for stone-grinding as a means to re-flatten the bases. Flat bases are much easier to wax and distribute pressure evenly on the snow during the glide phase of skate-kick or when in a tuck position
