Red Creek Fluoro-Free Violet 'Old Fashion' Grained + Mixed Snow Liquid Glide Wax keeps skis slippery from 2 °C down to -12 °C when the snow has gone through some freeze-thaw cycles or has had several groomer passes while allowing for a flurry or two on fresh snow. The liquid hydrocarbon loves to sit over Red Creek Racing Hard Base or violet melt waxes for marathon durability. Warm the 90 ml bottle to room temperature, shake hard, run beads with the eyelet spout, then spread with Fibertex, Fiberlene, or a shop towel before letting it cure as long as possible. Finish with the metal → horsehair → soft nylon → Roto Wool stack before heading to the start line.

    • LAYERING STRATEGY: Layer it over a freshly ironed base wax or liquid base (Red Creek Racing Hard Base, Violet Melt Wax) to extend durability over long distances.
    • FINISH & MAINTAIN: Brush metal → horsehair → soft nylon → Roto Wool, then refresh once the sheen fades.
    • LIQUID WAX SAFETY: Wear nitrile or rubber gloves, wash any skin contact promptly, ventilate the wax room, and avoid inhaling solvent fumes while the solvent flashes off.
