Rode Small Natural Cork

A bit smaller option for those who want to save some money, and want a smaller natural cork. Natural corks are now primarily used for applying liquid and block GLIDE waxes because they generate heat, which enhances the durability and speed of the wax. In the past, natural corks were utilized for KICK waxes, but they are no longer effective for that application since synthetic corks are much better at generating heat when used with kick waxes. To use natural corks, first apply your liquid glide wax and allow it to dry, or apply the block wax directly. Then, using medium pressure, vigorously rub the natural cork over the wax product to generate heat and help the glide wax adhere to the base. Finish the process by brushing with a nylon brush, and for an optional extra boost of speed, you can polish with roto wool.
