Sharpening grains are used to restore worn-out sharpening stones. Worn-out sharpening stones risk doing more harm than good to your blades. The grains are made of CG60 silicon carbide. Pour some grains on a flat plate and make circular movements with the worn-out stone. After some time, the sharpening stone will be restored.
