Rode Ski Wax & Tools 2025/2026
Headlining Rode’s 25-26 lineup: the RW World Cup Wool-Apply Waxes and 70mm Roto Brushes! This new line of waxes is quick! Tested for us at Canadian Nationals in Canmore at the end of last year, we found Rode's new RW line to have more than adequate performance! The other big addition to the Rode catalog is the line of 70mm Roto Brushes! A new 140mm handle and a fleet of 70mm brushes. We were also able to test their new trio of old snow grip waxes and were presently surprised! Rode continues to be on top! See more below...
*! NEW !* RW Wool-Apply Waxes
The new Rode RW Line is perfect for shorter distance races. Quick acceleration and fast top speeds; everything you expect from a racing top coat! We tested them in the late season last winter including in some racing at Nationals in Canmore. They came out as our race topper for all the races short enough for a wool-apply wax! The range extends from cold, fresh snow, to transforming, glazing, snow, to wet, twenty-degree spring snow. Rode has tested the direct application to the ski base before release, and recommend the application to the wool for applying to the ski.

Rizzieri Rodeghiero, born on December 5, 1919, displayed an innate fascination with alchemy from a tender age. Growing up in a farming family, and unable to afford formal education, he borrowed chemistry books from a local country pharmacist to craft the essential ski wax for winter adventures. Fond memories linger of young Rizzieri meticulously mixing his early waxes, concocted from resins and natural ingredients, and personally testing them during races.
With his innovative products, he achieved remarkable success, securing seven Italian titles across cross-country and Nordic combined skiing disciplines. His journey led him to represent Italy in the 1948 St. Moritz Olympics. In 1953, he laid the foundation for Rode Skiwax, a company that would go on to become one of the most prosperous in its field. To this day, the company is family owned and operated out of a brand-new factory in Asiago, Italy.
