The Infra C ZERO (aka Hairy or Rub Skis) is for snow conditions around `ZERO` Celsius, especially in fresh-falling snow when kick waxing would otherwise be super tricky. `Zeros` have a special grip-zone material sanded to provide grip through its rough texture without the need for grip wax. The Aircell Honeycomb guarantees a very elastic wax pocket, requiring less power to compress the grip zone. The fluor-free Nano High-Speed base material complying with FIS rules improves glide, particularly at higher speeds. A pair of Infra C Zeros completes any competitive skier`s fleet.The flex profile of these skis does not leave any space for grip wax, so it`s essential to get them sized correctly.     • Industry-leading laminate sublayer: Peltonen bases are exceptionally flat out of the factory and stay flat after hotboxing & applying wax with high-temperature irons thanks to the reinforcing laminate sublayer sandwiched between the core material and the base material. The reinforcing laminate sublayer keeps the ski bases flat for many seasons reducing the need for stone-grinding as a means to re-flatten the bases. Flat bases are much easier to wax and distribute pressure evenly on the snow during the glide phase of skate-kick or when in a tuck position
