Infra C Skin is a kick-wax-free ski with a nearly full spectrum of racing ski features. These skis are suitable for loppet racers who would like consistent grip in any type of snow. A MOVE binding-compatible, NIS 3.0 plate gives a possibility to optimize you skis according to skiing condition, body weight and skiing technique while still skiing. The Mohair Race skin is designed with higher speed and better technique in mind. It is smaller than the regular Mohain skin, making it drag less and give you skis about 90-95% as fast as a waxed ski. The NOMEX Honeycomb construction makes the ski light yet stiff. The Infra C Skin makes a great waxless training ski, or coach`s ski as well! Sizing/Flex Chart & How to Choose the right Flex and Length

  • STEP 1: Use the table below and find the skier's Body Weight
  • STEP 2: If there's more than one Ski Length that fits the skier's Body Weight, use the skier's Body Height to choose the best ski length. Choose a longer ski for a more advanced skier.

Since cross-country sizing takes significant interpretation to get right, we recommend getting in touch with us at info@skiwax.ca with the following info:

  1. The ski model
  2. The skier's height
  3. The skier's weight
  4. The skier's ability (beginner, experienced, racer, etc...)
  5. The snow type you'd like the skis to work best in
  6. If you'd like bindings, poles, or boots as part of a package deal

    • Built-in NIS 3.0 plate is compatible with NIS bindings and is ready-made for the Rottefella MOVE system.
    • High-performance PRG 4100 base material
    • Red-coloured `Mohair Race` skin insert is designed for racers to allow excellent glide while providing great grip in any snow condition. Inserts are glued in place and can easily be replaced with a waxing iron in the event the skin inserts wear out.
    • Grip Pocket: The Infra X SKIN`s grip pocket rides high - meaning it lifts your skin-inserts high off the snow during your glide phase. The flex feels very elastic and supple when the grip skin is compressed during the kick phase - giving you easy grip without excess effort. The grip pockets close in reverse to wax classic grip pockets to ensure the pressure of your kick is spread across the skin-insert perfectly. This maximizes the effectiveness of each millimeter of the grip zone.
    • FLUOR-FREE Nano High-Speed base material (NHS): Previous to 2020, all NHS ski bases contained very, very large amounts of fluoro additives baked in the base material. Starting in 2021, all Peltonen skis are 100% fluoro-free made without any fluoro additives in the base material: certified for fluoro-free racing rules! The factory stone-grind is ideal for average snow temperatures.
