Infra X SKIN is a kick-wax-free ski with a full spectrum of racing ski features. This ski is perfect for racers who want a waxless ski option within 90 to 95% as fast as a well-waxed classic ski. With this season's version of the Infra X SKIN, they have created a high-riding grip pocket that compresses with ease, distributing your kick-action across the entire skin-insert - maximizing the grip each millimetre of your grip zone offers. The red-coloured 'Mohair Race' skin insert is designed for racers to allow excellent glide while providing great grip in any snow condition. The NOMEX Honeycomb Core construction makes these skis exceptionally lightweight. The FLUOR-FREE Nano High-Speed base material (NHS) shows up best at high speeds.   • STEP 2: If there's more than one Ski Length that fits the skier's Body Weight, use the skier's Body Height to choose the best ski length. Choose a longer ski for a more advanced skier.

    • High-performance NHS base material
    • Red-coloured 'Mohair Race' skin insert is designed for racers to allow excellent glide while providing great grip in any snow condition. Inserts are glued in place and can easily be replaced with a waxing iron in the event the skin inserts wear out.
    • Grip Pocket: The Infra X SKIN's grip pocket rides high - meaning it lifts your skin-inserts high off the snow during your glide phase. The flex feels very elastic and supple when the grip skin is compressed during the kick phase - giving you easy grip without excess effort. The grip pockets close in reverse to wax classic grip pockets to ensure the pressure of your kick is spread across the skin-insert perfectly. This maximizes the effectiveness of each millimeter of the grip zone.
    • Industry-leading laminate sublayer: Peltonen bases are exceptionally flat out of the factory and stay flat after hotboxing & applying wax with high-temperature irons thanks to the reinforcing laminate sublayer sandwiched between the core material and the base material. The reinforcing laminate sublayer keeps the ski bases flat for many seasons reducing the need for stone-grinding as a means to re-flatten the bases. Flat bases are much easier to wax and they distribute pressure evenly on the snow during the glide phase of skate-kick or when in a tuck position.
